Motor lodge was busy and had alot of people staying. We went to the restaurant and bar in particular. But have nothing but good things to say about the staff here. The on-site manager is fantastic

Fantastic place to stay when in Turangi for fishing, great facilities and friendly staff. The motorhome parks are spacious and have excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. Best location to everything, pop across the road for a feed, or pop across another road to access the river for fishing! Brilliant. AAA+++

We arrived late at night freezing (0 degrees) after a very long drive. The cottage had its litchi on, was lovely and warm and the electric blankets were put on in the beds. Beautiful cosy and clean cottage. Great place to put our heads down before setting off again for another long drive. Thank you

Very friendly staff and warm and cosy stay... Kids kept entertained with the TV and sky... Very close to shops and amenities...Had all necessary things for a homely stay....Enjoyed the spa.. Highly recommend...

I've become a regular all year, once a fortnight approximately, one night, out the next morning. No fuss booking, payment. Parklands add that little bit extra like put the heater on for me to warm the room on cold evenings before I arrive. Room is comfortable with all the amenities. Dinner menu is scrumptious selection, I love the chicken and steak, shrimp entree washed down with a beer. I have started ordering lunch for the next days travel save calling into cafes. Always a childish glee looking inside what's to eat. Also continental breakfast before I hit the road in the morning. Just makes easy and no fuss. VG wifi too. Turangi can be 4 seasons in one day. Staff are friendly

Great location. Very close to the supermarket and restaurants. Rooms are basic but more than adequate for short term stay Good facilities for the family and especially the kids Highly recommended as a location to stay if you are doing the Tongariro Crossing

Stayed 3 nights over Queens Birthday weekend. The unit was exceptionally clean and warm. Plenty of bedding for the chilly nights. The restaurant on site was also exceptional. Dined there with family on Friday evening. Fabulous meal and fabulous friendly service

A nice place to stay that is clean, tidy and well served in amenities. It was a comfortable night and toasty warm. Lots of off street parking and should you visit with kids then a playground and space to keep them safely occupied. Will stay here again.

This is a comfortable, well-priced and well-located motel. The space was great for two people and it is also a good place for shuttle pickups for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again if traveling in this area. Read less
