The Lead Central Kustom Car Show and Swap Meet is back again. The show was designed to showcase Kustom Lead Sleds; American cars from the 1940's, 50's and 60's that have been modified way beyond what the orginal designer ever dreamed. Since it's conception, the show has grown to include cars of all types and sizes, both modified and stock. It now also includes a swap meet, where car guys, hobbiest and the genreal public can search, discover and find those rear parts, missing pieces and rolling bodies. The shows also has a whole day of entertainment lined up, with rock'n'roll bands from all over New Zealand set to take the stage.
The shows central theme is based off the cult classic movie "American Graffiti", so don't be afarid to get dressed up and show off ya best rock'n'roll or greaser style. You may even win a prize!
The best part about the Lead Central Kustom Car Show is that all the proceeds go to our favourite local charity, The Omori/Western Lake Taupo First Responce Vehicle. This great local cause provides a four wheel drive vehicle that has been fitted out as a first response vehicle and is manned by local St John's ambulance staff on a voluntary basis.
So get out and support this great local cause, and don't forget that we have plently of parking right outside your room, for those Kustom Lead cars, hot rods, and V8's.
